Refund & Plant Guarantee Policy

Plants are living goods, so our policy is different from a typical retail return policy — and, we think, more honest about it.
Arrival check — 48 hours
Inspect your plants on delivery. If anything arrives damaged, declined in health, or not as ordered, email info@greenplaceinc.com with photos within 48 hours of delivery. We will replace the plant or refund it, our choice, at no cost to you. This is the standard claim window for live nursery stock.
Hard goods (irrigation, fertilizer)
Unopened irrigation parts and fertilizers may be returned within 30 days for a refund of the product price. Opened fertilizers and special-order items are non-returnable. Return delivery of hard goods is arranged with us.
Cancellations
You can cancel an order any time before it is dispatched or scheduled for planting, for a full refund — no cancellation fee. Once a plant has been delivered or a crew has been dispatched for planting, that portion is no longer cancellable.
The 90-Day Establishment Guarantee
When you choose the Plant + Planting + 3-Month Care option, your plant is covered by our 90-Day Establishment Guarantee. If a plant we planted and cared for fails to establish within 90 days of planting, we will replace it once with the same plant at the same size, planting included, at no charge.
Because our crews set and tune the watering schedule on every care visit, we do not deny claims for "improper watering." The guarantee does not cover loss from physical damage, vandalism, animals, neglect of our written care instructions between visits, or extreme weather events (frost, heat wave, flood, fire, wind storm). The guarantee applies to the plant; it does not provide a cash refund.
Plants purchased Plant Only or Plant + Planting (without the Care program) are covered only by the 48-hour arrival check above, since their care after delivery is outside our control.
How refunds are issued
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Service fees for planting already performed are non-refundable.
