Fountain Grass

A deciduous, warm-season ornamental grass with a neat, fountain-like form. Feathery, red flower panicles are fuzzy and foxtail-like. Blooms start in summer, aging to a creamy-tan in fall. Medium green foliage is finely textured and arching. Heat and drought tolerant once established. Aggresively self-sows, depending on the location. Invasive in some areas.
